HANOVER, Pa. (AP) — A central Pennsylvania man has been charged with criminal homicide in the stabbing death of his wife, a mother of five children.

Twenty-seven-year-old Carrington Joseph of Lancaster is charged in Lancaster County in Friday's death of 27-year-old Melissa Joseph.

Coroner Stephen Diamantoni told Lancaster Newspapers (http://bit.ly/RkwrsM ) that the victim was stabbed multiple times and died shortly after arrival at Lancaster General Hospital.

Manheim Township Sgt. Robert Baldwin said police found the couple's infant twins covered in blood but uninjured. Neighbors said three other children were at school at the time.

Neighbor Carmen Polite said she saw the victim's sister and a neighbor trying to pull her away, but her attacker threatened them with a knife and dragged her back inside.

Court documents don't list an attorney for Joseph.
