Police: Alcohol likely played role in fatal crash

BRADY TOWNSHIP, Pa. (AP) — State police suspect alcohol played a role in a crash that killed a Butler man.

Police said that 53-year-old David J. Malesh was driving a Chevrolet Silverado south on Route 528 in Brady when he lost a control while making a turn around 11:30 p.m. Saturday. He went up an embankment and hit a tree.

Malesh was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
